            (Please make reservation in April 15-May 31, to get special room rate for the conference).

This conference will cover a wide range of interdisciplinary and current research topics such as electronic materials, nanomaterials, bio-nanomaterials, zero band-gap materials, composites, and polymers. These materials have numerous applications in electronics, biotechnology, energy harvesting and sustainability of environments. The importance of nano-science and engineering has been well documented by both industrial and academic communities worldwide. It is believed that breakthroughs in nano-science and technology will change all aspects of human life in such diverse areas as, energy, biomedicine, sensing, environment, and security.

The conference is intended to provide a forum for researchers and educators around the world to exchange state-of-the-art research and development and identify research needs and opportunities in these emerging fields. The primary objectives of this conference are to:

1) Facilitate interaction between researchers working in the fields of development and application of materials, with a special emphasis on electronics, energy, biotechnology and environment;

(2)Provide scientists, engineers, graduate students and other professionals with a forum to actively engage in research discussions,  and professional development; and

(3)Create opportunities for the next generation workforce to develop their professional skills.

The conference will include plenary speeches, invited presentations, contributed presentations and poster presentations. The plenary session has five excellent presentations in the field of electronics materials, nanomaterials, biomaterials, synthetic biomaterials, and nanodevices. Also, the contents are enriched by lunch speech on ethics of science and engineering and banquet speech on portable energy technologies. Invited and contributed papers (including posters) cover a broad range of advanced materials research. These topics address timely and important issues around the globe.

The conference provides opportunities for senior undergraduate students, graduate students and post doctoral researchers to actively engage in research discussions, and professional development. There will be awards for the best poster and oral presentations. We hope participants will enjoy the technical program of this conference.
